The History

Encounters with the Archdruid is a fiction written by John McPhee, in which four men are portrayed who on the whole borrow different relationships to their environment. The journeys take place in three wildernesses - on a coastal is area, in a Western muckle range, and on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon.
